SALES AND MARKETING INTERNSHIP:

The Sales & Marketing intern will work with both the client development and marketing departments within MSB Media Group.The intern will work to facilitate the development of prospective clients and will also help create and execute corporate branding and marketing initiatives for MSB Media Group- (BookPros / Phenix & Phenix Literary Publicists).

Duties
• Draft project proposals for prospective clients
• Research competitors and trends within the industry
• Help develop and implement new marketing strategies
• Participate in campaign strategy sessions
• Brainstorm unique pitch angles for prospective clients
• Organize and execute direct-mail marketing initiatives
• Perform other miscellaneous tasks as needed.

Qualifications
• An understanding of all forms of media, including print, broadcast and Internet
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High level of computer knowledge, including word processing, spreadsheets, Internet browsing, e-mail and database concepts
• Proficient computer skills in MS Word, Excel
• Have the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision

*Our internship opportunities are un-paid and are available for course credit throughout the fall, spring, and summer semesters, though you do not need to receive course credit to participate.
